Regular Meeting
September 14, 2011
Dale Klueger called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Minutes
The minutes from the August 22, 2011 meeting were read.
Ray Collien made the motion to accept the minutes as read with the corrections to wording in the Water and Sewer Report and in Old Business item D should have read Huberty and Associates, Dan Gassner seconded the motion. Motion passed and carried.
Finance Report
The Finance Report was given to the board to be reviewed.
Ray Collien made the motion to accept the Financial Report subject to audit, Dan Gassner seconded the motion. Motion passed and carried.
Water and Sewer Report
Tim Gutjahr stated that everything is working well. He went on to say that CTW’s estimate bid is from April and that they will resubmit an updated bid for refurbishing the well. The warning system will be tested.
Old Business
A. Discuss with Possible Action – Lawyer – Alternative Legal Counsel
Dale stated that he has not had a response from O’Connor. He will try again.
B. Discuss with Possible Action – Bertram Wireless
There was discussion regarding the amount of the rental agreement. Tim asked if the internet could be installed at the east pump house. Bertram stated that they will get the service installed and that it would add to the already existing renting fee of $100.00.
Ray Collien made the motion to leave the Bertram Wireless contract as is at the present time with the additional service to be installed at the pump house. Motion passed, 1 abstained.
C. Discuss with Possible Action – Huberty & Associates and Baker Tilly
Dan talked with Cindy from Huberty and Associates. She told Dan that they can match Baker Tilly’s prices if we go with them. Dan will call Huberty & Associates to make sure that both water and sewer are represented in the report. This is to be put on the October agenda.
D. Discuss with Possible Action - Signing of Kin-X Contract
The contract with Kin-X was signed by all parties regarding the fire hydrant that is to be moved.
E. Discuss with Possible Action – Knowles Fire Dept. – Bob Belling
Mr. Belling explained that he did send emails with the information. It was discovered that he was given the wrong email address. Patti presented him with the correct email address so that this will no longer be a problem. He will also call/email Tim when the fire department takes water.
New Business
A. Discuss with Possible Action - Maintenance of Lift Stations and Pump Installation
L.W. Allen provided the maintenance in past years and cost approximately $1200.00. Doug Sabel can provide the same service for $75.00 an hour. It would take about 4 hours to do.
Ray Collien made the motion to have the maintenance of the lift stations be done by Doug Sabel. Dan Gassner seconded the motion. Motion passed and carried.
Public Input
The LeRoy Town Board discussed and decided to add the sanitary district information to the Town of LeRoy web page.
Correspondence to Come Before the Board
Information was received from Spectrum Ins. Company wanting to provide insurance to the Sanitary District.

October 18, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
Ray Collien made the motion to adjourn the meeting, Dan Gassner seconded the motion. Motion passed and carried.
