Town Board Minutes
The September 12, 2011 Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairperson, Linda Schraufnagel at 7:30 PM. at the LeRoy Town Hall. Members present were; Linda, Raymond Collien, Arthur Mueller, Erma Franke, Bryant Halverson, and 7 guests. Arthur made a motion to approve and accept the Agenda as presented, 2nd by Raymond, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to approve the reading of the August minutes, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried. The Treasurer’s report showed a beginning balance in the General Account of $40,209.65; Receipts of $24,301.36; Expenditures of $50,843.98; for an ending balance of $14,667.03. The Tax Account showed a beginning of $61,378.58; Receipts of $66,388.26; for an ending balance of $127,766.84. We also have a CD at the Bank of Oakfield in the amount of $63,072.62. Raymond made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report subject to audit, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to approve the Ordinance 02-2011 for Alternative Claims Procedure for the Town, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried
Arthur made a motion to approve cementing an area by the Sand & Salt bay, not to exceed $2,350.00, 2nd by Raymond, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to add the Sanitary District to the Towns Web Page, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried.
Arthur made a motion to postpone blacktopping of Ertl Road to 2012, 2nd by Raymond, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to approve payment of bills #14674 thru #14701, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried. Raymond made a motion to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM. Next meeting will be October 10, 2011
