Town Board Meeting
The October 10, 2011 Town Board meeting was called to order at 7:30PM. Present were Linda, Raymond Collien, Arthur Mueller, Erma Franke, Bryant Halverson, and 7 guests. Arthur made a motion to approve and accept the agenda as presented, 2nd by Raymond, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to approve the September 12 minutes, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried. Raymond made a motion to approve the Special September 14 minutes, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried.
The Treasurer’s report showed a beginning balance in the General Account of $14,667.03; receipts of $31,784.05; Expenditures of $45,249.99, for an ending balance of $1,201.09. The Tax Account showed a beginning balance of $127,766.84; receipts of $22.52; Expenditures of $30,000.00; for an ending balance of $97,789.36. We also have a CD at the Bank of Oakfield in the amount of $63,252.38. Raymond made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report subject to audit, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried.
Erma reported one building permit for Catherine Billington for a fence in the amount of $18.00. Linda stated that Bob has about ¾ of the ditch cutting done. Arthur made a motion to have the bridge on Lomira Drive sanded where needed and painted, 2nd by Raymond, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to appoint Norbert Weinberger as our Grievance Hearing Officer, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried. Raymond made a motion to charge $50.00 per hearing, to be paid by the person requesting the hearing, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to approve the Brownsville Fire Department Contract for 2012 in the amount of $22,000., 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried. Arthur made a motion to approve the Kekoskee Fire Department Contract for 2012 in the amount of $23,958.70, 2nd by Raymond, motion passed and carried. Raymond made a motion to approve the Knowles Fire Department for 2012 in the amount of $21,950., 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to apply to Dodge County for the Trip Road program for North Line Road, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to dispose of the old computers at the Town Hall, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried.
Raymond made a motion to approve payment of checks #14702 thru #14733, 2nd by Arthur, motion passed and carried. Arthur made a motion to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Raymond, Motion passed and carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:00 PM. Next meeting will be November 16, 2011 at 7:30 PM
